Giving Thanks by Paul Semendinger
Giving Thanks!
I have so so much to give thanks for.
I have been blessed with a wonderful family. I am thankful for my beautiful and wonderful wife and my three sons. The best job I have ever had is as Daddy. My sons are the joys of my life.
I am thankful for my parents and in-laws. I am thankful for my sister and all my relatives.
My friends bless my life. I am fortunate to have them all. I am thankful for each.
I am thankful that I have a wonderful job in a wonderful school in a wonderful community. I am thankful for all of the people (students, teachers, parents, colleagues, staff, and so many others) who make the school the special and caring place that it is.
I am thankful for my health and all the people who work to keep me healthy. I am thankful that I can still be active and run and play baseball and softball. I’m thankful for my teammates and for the opponents as well. I’m thankful for the New York City Marathon and long for its return in 2021.
I am thankful for this wonderful country. I am thankful to all those who defend it.
I am thankful for life – for all of it, for the sunshine, the rain, the cold and the warm. I am thankful for the good times. All of these, together, provides richness to my life.
I’m thankful for great books and for having the ability to be an author. I am thankful for my publisher and for all the support, encouragement. I am thankful (and honored) that my novel Scattering the Ashes has earned two awards.
I’m thankful for the Yankees, for baseball, for this blog and all our writers (past and present), and readers. I love sharing my love of baseball with all of you. I am thankful to those who share there love of baseball with me and who invite me to their podcasts and radio shows.
And I am thankful, of course, to God and Christ Jesus, from whom all of this is possible.
I am thankful to each of you.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!
