The Tuesday Discussion (All Day Long) – My Favorite Home Run (Lincoln MItchell)
The home run Chris Chambliss hit in the bottom of the ninth of game five of the 1976 ALCS is the first great Yankee moment I remember. That was the first year I followed baseball closely. That home run made an eight year old boy, who was from New York and growing up in San Francisco a Yankees fan for life.
(Editor’s note – some hits are worth watching twice on the same day.)
