Let's see how far they will let the Starting Pitchers carry them. Thus is Year 7 of these Pitching Czar group; I'm still waiting for them putting a bullpen together.
We see this every year. Boone's teams start out looking unbeatable for a time before settling into the swoon and stumbling into the playoffs. I'll enjoy the highs, but I'm not reaching for the kool-aid just yet.

No. I mean, they certainly could have a great year, and I hope they do. But the last four years have included periods of great success right next to periods of abject failure. Right now, they are on a 7-0 run. Right before that, they went 3-8. Before that, they had been 7-1. Which type of streak will predominate over the course of the year? We're not even out of April.
