I predicted this weeks ago. Weeks ago. Almost every single person told me I was wrong. I said the Yankees needed to get the Judge situation settled quickly. I was told, "You're wrong. The Yankees have to wait on Judge."

Well, they're waiting and as they do, some big other options are going away.

Now, more than ever, the Yankees must resign Judge. They're running out of fallback plans.

If Judge doesn't sign with NYY 2023 could be a disaster.

No, but there were options that wouldn't leave us in fourth place. Turner was one of those options, and now he's off the table.

Wow, I was totally wrong - I really thought Judge would be the first domino to fall on the position player market.

That said, I also read that Rob Thompson cut short a fan meetup yesterday to tend to (paraphrasing here) "pressing business to make the Phillies better in 2023". So I guess this makes a lot of sense.

I would love to see that. Reynolds in left field excites me more than Benintendi.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
