Amed Rosario is a Yankee. Nationals get Clayton Beeter and Browm Martinez. I’m in the car, so that’s all I got.

This trade speaks to 2026, as well. By 2027 it will be GLJ time!

Love this trade as it creates not only a platoon with McMahon, but outfield depth agaonst left-handed pitching as well. Now the McMahon trade doesn't look so flawed.

These two trades only highlight the value of Oswald Cabrera... his injury had more implications than fans realized!

With this second acquisition, I feel alot better about the McMahon trade. It appears to me there's a perfect platoon arrangement now at 3b since both players have regular platoon splits. This suggests McMahon will start at the hot corner v. RHP and Rosario v. LHP. Both are above average gloves, McMahon trending more towards elite. You could see him coming in late to take over defensively to close out games, if he didn't start. Additionally, Rosario is capable defensively at 2b, ss and the of. He will fill the utility roll and be Volpe's backup. Peraza is now free to go...Vaya con dios, mi amigo.

yup, the Yankees are going to have to pay a slightly above value amount in salary in order to staunch what was a bit of a wound ay 3B.

they're paying to get good defense and somewhat improved offense.

their improvement package might not be great, will likely require adjustment in less than a calendar year,

but the band-aids did not require the expenditure of any significant prospect resources

and the guys that they've acquired might serve, when supplanted, as capable bench players.

the infield has had a decent patch slapped upon it

and they retain their resources

they have the ability to acquire some pitchers and likely will

if they're sure that Judge is not foing to have his…

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
