I got the start today for our baseball team.

I went the first five innings and earned the win. We won 7-4.

I never thought, at 56-years-old, I’d still be playing baseball, and pitching no less.

I am on a wonderful team comprised of the greatest group of men you could imagine. I look forward to every game.

Every game is a joy. Every inning. Every single pitch. It is all wonderful. I’m living a dream.

And dreams are good.

But the best part of it all isn’t a dream.

The best part is that I get to play baseball on the same team alongside my son.

There is nothing better than that.

Happy Father's day Paul. I am 57 myself. Nice too see you and your son on the same team. I envy you can still play baseball at this age. Hope you enjoyed playing the game we all loved.

The Least Among Them.png

"This charming and meticulously researched book will remind you of baseball’s power to change and enrich lives far beyond the diamond."

—Jonathan Eig, New York Times best-selling author of Luckiest Man, Opening Day, and Ali: A Life

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
