There is a very real concern that the things that will defeat the Yankees in the postseason this year, as they have so many times before, are the team's lack of fundamentals and their overall lack of focus.
I saw these two posts on Twitter today, I believe both from last night's game, and they demonstrate those concerns exactly:

When they do things like an all right handed lineup, or a mostly left one. Or really don't have a flamethrower in the pen, what do you honestly expect? This is just the result of being an Analytically run team. Analytics is a very useful tool, but it should not be treated like one of The Ten Commandments.
I don't think the selfie thing is so bad in a vacuum. Things like that can possibly help things stay loose. The problem is that the guy who did it is the same guy who had the brain cramp a little earlier and did not cover first on the squeeze. Focus has been an ongoing problem with him in particular.
