While 8 runs is nice, they only scored vs one pitcher.

Caballero scored on a different Pirate pitcher

who had to be kept from scoring a point or two upon Caballero

Wells hits a tiny, infield bloop and gets a hit. He scorches a grounder to the left of the second baseman and gets bupkis. That's baseball, Suzyn.

I thought Jazz had been banned from challenging pitches?

Seriously, two HRs or no two HRs, I'd yank him from the game for challenging ANY pitches.

any game in which he's amassed 5 RBIs is a game in which he's earned an indulgence

who knows, he might, at some point, learn the strike zone

Aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh. That's the time you DO go on contact, with runners on second and third. With one out, if you are cut down at the plate, your Run Expectancy is 0.48. If you don't go, your RE is 0.67, less than 0.2 of a run more. It's worth the risk.
