While the Yankees fiddle, the Mets have cornered the market on Sotos!

Slumpers Dominquez and Rice sit -- or are they traded?

Looks like Vivas has had his last start for the Yankees for a while.

Will Peraza soon spell Volpe at SS? (Actually, I used spell check.)

tomorrow we should have a new 3b. we should have a new manager. hopefully we also have 1 or 2 new studs in or on their way to the pen

AND IF BC is not going to go all in then go all in for next year. if he is not going to go BIG for relievers and hopefully a starter then admit we are not trying to win in 2025. take FULL advantage of a sellers market

trade

Bellinger and Grisham to SDP or PHilly. they are dying for OFers

open the door for Jones and lets find out if he can do to MLB pitching what he is doing in AAA

trade

Goldy

trade Williams, Weaver, Hill, Loaisiga,…

people may have additional questions, but here is the first question I would like to have an answer for

WHY was Warren pulled after starting the 6th with 2 outs and looking strong. also, he had thrown only 89 pitches

does Boone manage to forget on a daily basis that he is NOT working with a fully staffed fully functioning bullpen?

when you start going to your best guys in the 6th inning, do you think they dont know that there is ZERO room for needing to face extra batters?

it definitely puts pressure on all of them to be perfect and hope they can get more outs than they should normally be asked to get

Warren has 89 pitchers.…

Replying to

i just do not understand WHY you pull Warren after 89 pitches instead of letting him face the 9 batter who he retired easily twice already?

in an isolated scenario, YES YES YES, Hill can get 4 outs and Weaver can obviously get multiple outs. but we had a day off yesterday. beginning today we have 13 straight days with a game

should we honestly start immediately extending the best relievers on the first day of 2 weeks without a day off? Warren can get at least one more out. if he gets him in 2 or 3 pitches then I let him have Turner

EVERY pitch we save Hill, Weaver, Williams today is a pitch they can have later
