Haven't heard anything yet about when Effross joins the team and who loses their roster spot. (According to Yankees.com he will be in minors. Maybe just awaiting other roster moves)
Yanks get Montas and Trivino. Lot of roster moves coming. (Very weird, Yankees.com now lists Montas and Trivino as being in minors.)
UPDATE: Yankees transfer Sevy & Castro to 60 Day IL to clear some roster space. This means Sevy is out until Sept 14th, and unless he can get MiLB innings in he won't be a starter going into the playoffs.
Schmidt optioned to SWB, Carlos Espinal signed to MLB contract and is on the 26 man roster (at least for a day or two.)
