Last game before the deadline. Who are we seeing for the last time in a Yankee uniform?

Goldy & Volpe not in lineup! Trade bait?

the Cubs end the game showing the same stupidity / lack of competence regarding ABS challenges that the Yankees continue to show!!

I VERY VERY MUCH believe the final called strike would have held up if it was challenged, BUT why in the world when you STILL have 2 challenges would you allow the game to end on a called strike without trying a challenge???

apparently nobody else was annoyed by the Jazz challenge in the second inning?

I feel certain Jazz would say something like, OH I knew i had that one right!! really? I bet you thought the exact same thing on the way way too many that you got wrong, OR in those cases did you u…

multiple reports the Yankees have traded for Luis Garcia Jr

no reports what they gave up???

Garcia is leading the NL (.560) in slugging, 3rd in MLB just behind Ben Rice

but supposedly there was hesitation about Arraez based on questions of where he would play. where will Garcia play?

until this year he was a very very bad 2b

this year he plays 1b and DH

according to Jack Kelly, Garcia is not a rental. that makes me think this is a move to help add offense until Judge, etc... return, but also a move for next year. it seems pretty clear this guy is a DH going forward

I am very much hoping they did not give up…

OK now that you list the names I guess that is not too bad

he is having a really really good year hitting!!

he leads EVERY NL hitter in slugging!! that is a real thing!! he is literally slugging at the same rate as Ben Rice

but obviously we need RH hitting more and the defensive fit is tough.

that said, I agree, YES, Grable hurts, Cruz, and Cebert have potential. even Bird- he could not make it work with the Yankees but he throws nasty nasty stuff

I guess for a player leading the entire NL in slugging the cost should hurt a bit

also, I will say it again. I think this is a move for DH hel…

They cannot sustain scoring two runs a game and a .667 win rate.

they needn't continue to score only two runs per

but should they continue to allow one run or less to the opposition in 66.7% of their games

their win rate will continue to be favorable

Prospect LHP Allen Facundo got hammered today for the Renegades.

Oswaldo hit another HR today, BA up to .298. and he was at something like .165 on April 30. I think he could be the 2nd purce in the rumored deal for Luis Garcia Jr. Jack Cebert has been named as the pitching prospect in the report.

AA Patriots not playing until 5:05 today.
