Great deal BC.. Heliot Ramos is what, something like 1-30 ? And you gave up both Lalane & Kent gor him? He's (not) hitting himself a seat on the bench and is making Caballero a starting OF.

Maybe we got it all wrong for when Bellinger comes back, maybe Ramis is the guy that gets DFA.. Oh yea, not happening because even though that very well may be the right baseball move, it would show up just how bad another deal Cashman made. They've really been stacking up since he put Boone in as the manager - another brilliant (cough, cough) move by BC.

the trade with San Fran looks pretty bad as of now, but

Ramos was a promising hitter. in 2021, when he was Lalane's current age, Ramos was more highly regarded than is Lalane.

I think that Henry L has a chance at becoming a valuable late-inning reliever.

Ramos looks like just a guy, very average MLB outfielder.

not someone who should be more than a bench bat in the Bronx

or a fringe starter on a .500 team not overly fixated on outfield defense,

I Don't want to hear about an overworked bullpen when you need 4-5 relievers a game to pitch because as a general rule no reliever is allowed to go even 2 innings. These pitching geeks have killed the Starting Pitchers and the long man in the pen.

i cannot say that I have decided what my personal BEST plan for balls / strikes would be. I DO believe that ABS has given quite conclusive proof that the huge huge majority of the time the umps are correct OR they are wrong by literally half an inch or less

the calls that are grossly wrong ARE disappointing but they have proven to be quite rare.

I am not in favor of a total robo system, such as what tennis has. I do appreciate having the human element

i think my system, given the evidence of the current system, would be to give teams more challenges. i do not think the speed of the game is badly impacted. t…
