It might be worth it. Who is available that would be a better on field manager and make better lineups? Girardi?

I have come to terms with the reality that we won’t the title with our current manager but then to start to feel like he is also going to get in the way of Jdom developement (sitting 3 games in a row is just not right) is tough to swallow. Very tough. If I could I root against the team to get rid of Boone but I can’t. Just love those pinstripes too much

this would be a good time for Judge to provide a bit of inspirational production

well, NOW that you see Doval in the game, ANYONE think Boone was smart to bring in YDLS to face Buxton instead of Doval?

here i am BC

I just traded EIGHT of our prospects to add Bednar and Doval to our pen

post game media- Hey BC why did Boone let YDLS face the best player for MN in a tie game after you just traded a bunch of prospects to strengthen your pen

BC- HOW should I know? maybe YDLS has compromising photos of Boone

Doval gave up some runs in the first game, but they were largely because of an error. what runs has he given up otherwise?

beyond that, my personal choice would have been Weaver. but I disagree that YDLS is the choice vs Doval to face the best player on the other team. he has WAY nastier stuff and he has experience pitching in high leverage scenarios. I LIKE YDLS!!!! i like him a lot, but he needs to keep growing in lower leverage scenarios. Doval was traded for to give us a quality, experienced, high leverage pitcher.

personally, Weaver was my first choice, Doval second choice, honestly Leiter is probably my third choice just based on playoff experience last year

IF Boone is actually trying to win this game then MN just did us a HUGE favor!!!

Wells is the WORST hitter on our team today. they are bringing a LHP out of the pen

instead of facing our worst hitter with Ryan

now we can have Goldy face a LHP

is Boone smart enough to make the move?
