Game 125: Yankees (67-57) vs Rays (61-64)

Stanton in RF today -- NOT tomorrow.

Judge will not play OF this series -- no date when he will play the field again. They do not expect him to throw normally this year -- sounds to me like off season TJ surgery.

Escarra sent to SWB and Rosario activated!

No Dominguez, Wells, or McMahon

Looks like Caballero is a regular

Chisholm dropped to 7th

Judge stubbornly clings to a 200 wRC+

Pereira in CF for the Rays! It's the Battle of the Traded Fors!

Yankees MUST win this series!

Over / Under: Yankee hits w/RISP, 3.5

Andy? where are you?

I never doubted you. I totally understand that the Yankees have not earned any trust regarding injuries

but it is also true that Judge does have moments where he loses his mojo. in those moments he becomes PULL HEAVY and also flails a bit weakly at balls down and away

i did point out that last April there were a LOT of people who ALSO believed that he was NOT healthy. suddenly it was not April any more and nobody was talking about Judge being hurt

Judge had a good weekend in StL. I am pretty sure he was on base at least 3 times on Sunday. today he hit the ball over 100 MPH…

well those balls that bounce off of something before they get to the catcher can be a bit hard to predict!!

yea!!! I really like his bat at catcher!!! BUT if he is going to take such a beating that he cannot hit...

have to balance having Wells limp bat in the lineup vs keeping Rice healthy

Judge gets on base 3 times tonight- HR, BB, 1b

he gets out 3 times- 1K. the other 2 outs were laser beam line drives hit much too close to the CF and the LF (both line drives OVER 110 mph)

he is looking warm. hoping that he gets nuclear hot by Thursday! it would be very satisfying to watch him abuse the redsox like ugly step children
