Game 126: Guardians (72-52) vs Yankees (73-52)

I used to be good at math. Playing 1 out of 4 games never equalled beomg a starter. Trevino back behind the plate.

Do not, repeat, DO NOT pitch to Ramirez!!

Last year the Yankees stuck with Volpe the whole year -- and he did not deliver at the plate and has made only marginal progress this year. But they refuse to give Wells, Dominquez, Peraza, or Rice the same chance.

GUARDIANS

Kwan, LF -- .316

Ramirez, 3B -- .277

Naylor, B, 1B -- .245

Brennan, DH -- .250

Noel, RF -- .239

Gimenez, 2B -- .255

Schneeman, CF -- .210

Naylor, B, C -- .200

Rocchio, SS -- .203

Boyd, 0-0, 1.69

YANKEES

Torres, 2B -- .237 (89)

Soto, RF -- .300 (188)

Judge, CF -- .331 (218)

Stanton, DH -- .242 (116)

Verdugo, LF -- .233 (85)

Trevino, C -- .243 (101)

Volpe, SS -- .247 (92)

LeMahieu, 1B -- .194 (52)

Peraza, 3B -- .200 (169)

Gil, P -- 12-6, 3.25

Game on YES and MLBN (oom) at 7 pm

Yep like when they had a runner on 3rd with no outs and couldn't score him.

Don't you want to make Ramirez bat right handed?

I guess not. He's hitting much better against lefties this season.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
