2-11 RISP. Yes, it's a win. But it's another gutless, choking performance by the hitters, except for Lombard and McMahon.

i take some comfort in knowing that they had 10 hits and scored 5 runs, only 1 on a HR

and only one when the opposing pitcher went wild under pressure.

I take more comfort in knowing that they won the game

they are not efficient but when they get more than one hit per inning, efficiency,ever a good thing, is not quite an urgent thing.

you might be more hopeful, given that they seem to have found something of an answer to their great need to get some offense from the middle-or-the-field positions.

Lombard looks to be a prize package and Grisham is having good, skillful and usually intelligent ABs
