No Labor Day game --- what's with that???
Time to bring in Mariano to close it out. Wait, what year is it?
The Rail Riders are getting it done tonight
This is the antithesis of the Yankees vs. the Astros. Normally, they fall behind, fall farther behind, lose. Or get ahead, and the bullpen gives up tying and winning runs. Here, fall behind early, come back, stop an 8th inning rally with the Astro tying runs on base, and now adding tack-ons in the 9th (homer, opposite field single, double off the wall, double down the line) to nail shut Houston's coffin. I love it.
Volpe is looking pull happy. Somebody show him some Jeter clips.
