No Dominquez.

Since he's probably not going to hit 60 HRs, they should considering resting Judge some

before the playoffs.

Can Yankees afford Rizzo at 1B in the playoffs?

Boone finally managed to win the game TODAY. will Weaver be available tomorrow? no chance!! but maybe tomorrow there is no need for a closer? or maybe Stroman goes 3 or 4 or 5 very strong in relief and we dont need a one inning closer- even in a close game?

Boone cannot control tomorrow today!!! he is constantly giving away the game today trying to win the game tomorrow. today he went for it TODAY! we can worry about tomorrow, when tomorrow arrives

That's why I think this will be a "closer by committee", since closers are now going more than one inning is several games. I like it when "short relievers" (as they used to be called) go 2 or more innings. Goose Gossage used to often do 2 or more innings to close out a game. That's the way it was up until the 70's and the first half of the 80's.

but something that is being overshadowed by the Judge game winning, semi slump breaking, SLAM

i am SO happy they let Weaver go for 6 outs.

first, how many pitchers even try that any more? how many can even get a chance? he got the chance and he rose to the chance!!! KEEP IT GOING LUKE WEAVER!!!!!

second, did someone throw the book away? man, i want to think and hope that Boone read the circumstances and said, I dont care what the analytics say. i wanna hope and believe that he said screw the book a…
