It was a long 12 game losing streak. They're due for a win I guess.

earlier today I made the statement that I would not start Stanton 3 days in a row. maybe I would say, except if we are playing in Boston??

I am not sure at the moment. I believe the MOST important thing is having Stanton healthy in October. obviously, we also need him to provide some of the help in getting us to October.

I am going to think pretty hard about having one of Judge or Rice start at DH tomorrow, leaning toward Rice with Goldy at 1b.

I can still get some Stanton Fenway magic with a big pinch hit vs a LHP later in the game, if necessary

yes, that's the real truth of the matter.

they'll get to play games in October, even with only intermittent contributions from Stanton

and that's the time when they'll need him in top form.

2026 is the year where the team must have pitching that suppresses other team's offense

and where their own offense needn't always be compelled to cover for mediocre pitching.

he Yankee pitching is coming on, the team ERA should be shrinking

shame that Headrick blew the shutout

but let's hope that the Sox score fewer runs tomorrow

Rosie had a fine night and I hope that they keep him long after they kiss Grichuk good-bye.

I long to see Chisholm have such a performance. it's long past time for him to wake up and remember that it's a new season

would I be wrong if I think Rosario should be starting at least 4 days a week for one of Jazz and McMahon until one of them hits more?

in a week we play 7 games, he should start at least 4 regardless what hand the starter throws with

I thought it was pretty set that McMahon was Fried's 3b

yet, tonight Rosario got the start and I think he definitely made the job on the mound easier for Fried giving him 3 runs before he ever stepped on the mound

I would be shocked if McMahon does not start the next time Fried is on the mound, but one way or the other until one or both of Jazz and McMahon begin to hit Rosario is a pretty valuable bat to have sitting on the bench more than half the time
