2.1 IP for King. It's a Goose Gossage/Sparky Lyle-throwback save!

So no Holmes to close the game. Wonder what's wrong with him now?

they have used King for more than one inning

did it in his last outing

doing it in this one

and will do it some more.

Holmes will rest. 6 more games before a day without a game

They're saying "right hip discomfort" now for Judge. I *guess* that's better than a hand/wrist injury, which seems to take forever to heal.

it's better than saying that Boone wanted to rest the guy

and Cole pitching with a 3-run lead was the safest time to do so

they're lying.

Judge left because Cole had a 3-run lead and the game in the bag

So Judge exits the game with hand/wrist pain? Tomorrow, it'll be "he's day-to-day." By Sunday, it'll be "we're putting him on the 10-day IL as a precaution." By Memorial Day, it'll be "he's having surgery and is out for the year."

in 2019, when Judge missed 60 games and Stanton missed nearly all of 'em

it was Gardner and an unlikely assortment of guys in the outfield

and, somehow, they played a little better than .500
