My theory on Cortes not being what he was last season revolves around him missing Trevino. Together they are a very dynamic pair that are hard to be but when he doesn't have Trevino behind the plate, he can't just throw anything he wants to in any count. Higgy is used to a more sequenced approach and I don't think that works for Nestor, mainly because he likes to improvise on the fly and Trevino loves that and lets him do it.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
