Williams allowed 1 well hit ball. that is FAR better than walking the tying run to the plate. the other hit was a 2 hopper that found a perfect landing spot

YES, Santana produced a VERY quality AB before getting the double. I did not want to go into all the details, but Williams threw a bunch of good to very good pitches that Santana ruined before ruining another quite good pitch and hitting a double

apparently the stats say that DJ is the best defender, but he has endured YEARS of leg injuries since he last played regularly. Peraza has young legs it is just extremely difficult to believe he does not have meaningfully more range than DJ

But I'd move Jazz to 2B with Peraza at 3B. I don't know how or why, but to my eyes, both Cabrera and Peraza play an adequate 2B.

the one that went for a double was a waste pitch and skillfully hit

the one that slowly hopped past DJ was something that a more spry 2B would have gloved
