There's a one-run win for fuster!

willing to accept the gift, especially as they allowed only two runs to Cleveland,

but continue to prefer 12-run margins of victory

Just by looking at the box score, this is why I thought having Cole team with Weathers would be perfect. Cole can go 4 or 5, then Weathers could go 3.

Lagrange doesn't look good out of the pen tonight. And I still do not like that they are having him throw too many off speed pitches.

he knows how to throw a fastball,

he's gotta learn to mix in other stuff so that hitters dont see only one speed

it's vital that he do that in order to succeed

especially as he's not yet mastered command

Rivera succeeded with a single pitch only because he had such good command and control and could always locate within a couple of inches.

some semi-sloppy D led to Cleveland's runs.

first Volpe tried to play to the side a hot shot right at him. had he merely knocked it down, the run would not have scored

and a second run scored after Goldy made a fine stop on a ball down he line, hit with the bases loaded.

Cole was slow to cover and failed to get to first ahead of the batter
