8 pitches to get the last 2 outs last night

12 pitches to get the final 3 tonight

fine bit of proportionality

Escarra doing a solid Wells impersonation, at least as far as KC is concerned. he makes it a 2 bagger in every game of the series for Yankee catchers. 2 hit night for JC

as I already said, I was disappointed to see Wells sitting since Judge was also sitting, but the Yankees have expressed a great amount of confidence that Escarra can hit. if they are truly confident, I would like to see him get some games at 3b

As I've pointed out other times and earlier tonight, Warren has really gotten better with Escarra catching him. Oh, and the game against the Dodgers, Wells was his catcher. I can deal with Wells getting the Warren starts off.
