We are doing this without Judge Stanton Grisham and Fried. Other players on the team have really stepped up and contributed. Kudos to them.

Fried is the one they need back most since they are too stupid to put Weathers on the IL with arm fatgue and recall Beck or Rodriguez.

i do believe they thought they would get better production from some of the arms in the pen

but I also believe they thought this pen would do a good enough job until they could get additions from the rotation ( hurt starters coming back and making other starters available to the pen ) and the minors. it is hard to say they are wrong about this when the team has the best record in the AL by 3+ games and they are within a couple games of the best record in MLB and they have all the injuries they have

recently the Yankees win the game vs L Varland, one of the best relievers in the game

yesterday they faced Davis Martin who had a sub 3.00 ERA coming in along with 9 wins and one of the best WHIP in MLB and won

today they face a pitcher who is 5-0 in his last 7 games and win

will these facts get in the way for those who love to say that all the Yankees do is beat up on bad pitchers while looking impotent vs any decent pitcher?
