Question; A lot of these poor starting pitcher performances recently, are also st the time that Trevino has basically caught every game. Coincidence or what?

Maybe Wells calls a better game than Trevino. I am not saying Trevino doesn't, but I know Wells does his homework before every game he catches and has a precise game plan to every opposing hitter who comes to the plate. All the pitchers trust Wells because of that and seem to perform well when Wells is catching them.

Gomez has been one lonely, lovely, little spot of brightness

ina very dreary drudge of a game

that's kind of a drag

Judge and Soto 4 Ks combined. Not a recipe for winning.
