Apparently the pressure in NYC was too much for Trevino!

Judge must stop be embarrassed by Raleigh.

Rice & Grisham sit!

At the end of the game will we pronounce his name WINans or WHINEans?

If Winans throws a perfect game, Stroman will still get the next start.

Not Player of the Week, but Sandridge was the Most Travelled Player of the Week.

Over / Under: Stanton HRs; 1.5

we have Rodon and Fried in the next 2 games. we need to just keep winning series. if the Yanks do that everything will be good

that said the Reds are bringing up their #1 prospect tomorrow. he has a below 2 ERA and something like 89 Ks in 67 ish innings

I always feel like the Yankees struggle against pitchers where their not a book on them. I am not sure that is actually true. Judge has been totally murdering rookie pitchers this year.

one thing for sure, I hope we dont have many more games where our 4-6 hitters have 8 Ks

not sure if anyone is still watching the game, but Michael and Paul were talking about official scoring, hits, and errors.

I am thrilled because Paul referenced the Ryne Sandberg long errorless streak. i have said this to anyone who ever talks to me about how great Sandberg is /was. during that streak I guarantee I saw him have at least 3 errors that the Cubs official scorer did not count as errors.

Paul and Michael talking about the home cooking that happens in other parks. Paul just said, "I remember when Sandberg had his long errorless streak. He could have a ball go right through the wickets in Chicago and they called it a hit." THANK YOU Paul!!…

Volpe 0-4 is not a product of having the day off. Paul explains it perfectly in the broadcast. he is open and on his front side too quickly. the only ball he can hit well is on the inside edge or further in Volpe needs to bat 8th or 9th for a while and get at least one day off every 2 weeks. Stanton needs to bat 6 or 7 until he starts hitting the ball in the air and stops swinging at too many mediocre down and away sliders

we knew going in today this game was probably on the bats with Winans starting

Maybe Volpe should aim for 2028 in LA -- discuss throw!
