teams can NOT afford to give away games when you get 6 shoutout innings from one of your horses.

the players certainly had plenty of chances to do things better!! but Boone blew this one in a big big way

if the players win tonight they do it in spite of the manager

after the game Boone completely realizes that they did not have any pitching remaining

BUT

at the same time. TOTALLY unapologetic about pulling Rodon after 88 and Williams after 9. and seems to think everyone should totally agree with him like he is doing the OBVIOUS smart thing

tough to learn when you think you know everything

the game gets managed like we have 20 guys in the pen

pull the starter after 88 pitches

Cruz pulled after 12 pitches

Weaver probably cannot go a lot more than the 19

but when you pull Weaver in a tie game and you go to your closer

WHY pull Williams after NINE pitches

AND knowing that you have no pitchers WHY do you not bunt Volpe over in the 10th

this one lands BIG BIG BIG on the shoulders of somebody named Boone

also an unfortunate time for Judge to be having his slow month. he is now fouling off balls that were landing in the seats earlier this year

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
