Game 80: Atlanta (42-32) vs New York (52-27)

Stanton to IL (hamstring) -- Yankees call up Peraza (hitting .188 in three levels of minors!!) Who would have thought before the season started that losing Stanton could hurt the team?

How long will the Yankees be able to continue to play Grisham?

Trevino is catching -- let the track meet begin!

Hoping for Fried Green Tomatoes, not Fried Yankee hitters.

i am more and more convinced we NEED a hitter. and probably a RH hitter. we have been crushed this week by LH starters and apparently our leftie killer, Trevy, has been figured out.

when we get a good start, the pen can still be successful, even against good teams. we have seen that.

PLEASE, i am NOT saying, the pen does not need help, but they have shown they can get it done even against good teams as long as they dont have to cover 5 or more innings. we "might" NOT need a top target reliever, meaning an expensive one. just another solid arm could be enough

but we are NOT consistently scoring enough, especially against top caliber…
