A rainout like today would be a great opportunity for James Rowson to work with hitters like Aaron Judge and Alex Verdugo who haven't found their footing yet, in the underground batting cages at Progressive Field, and get in some valuable hitting instruction, and work on correcting any flaws they may have in their stance or swing. It would also be a good time to see if either one of them, Judge in particular, have any injuries right now that could be hampering their hitting abilities so they can address that.
At least I’ll get to see Will Warren pitch today in Norfolk.
