Giving Thanks by Chris O’Connor

I am so thankful to my friends and family who have supported me throughout my life. My mom and dad as well as my two brothers, Michael and Matthew, have been amazing influences in my life and the one benefit to being stuck at home for the first few months of the pandemic was being able to get closer to them.

My friends from Westfield as well as my brothers in Pi Kappa Alpha have also been amazing to have in my life through the good times and bad.

I am also tremendously thankful for growing up in New Jersey and rooting for the Yankees. Though the last few playoff runs have ended poorly, I love every second of following the team and watching guys grow, develop, and become Yankee legends in the process.

Being from Westfield, New Jersey, I also root for the Knicks and the Jets. This makes me thankful that I have the Yankees to root for even more!

The Least Among Them.png

"This charming and meticulously researched book will remind you of baseball’s power to change and enrich lives far beyond the diamond."

—Jonathan Eig, New York Times best-selling author of Luckiest Man, Opening Day, and Ali: A Life

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
