Today I’m thankful for a day with my family. While our gathering will be smaller than it usually is it’s no less meaningful, and the time spent together preparing and enjoying the meal will be special – so long as we don’t set the turkey on fire (yes, that happened one year).
I’m thankful for the game of baseball. Looking back throughout my life it has provided me much enjoyment, and perhaps even more importantly, a bond to share with family and friends. From catches in the yard with dad to writing for this blog, the game has connected me to great folks throughout my life.
I wish all a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving.
