HAPPY BABE RUTH DAY!

It was one hundred years ago today, on December 26, 1919, that the Boston Red Sox changed the lives of two franchises, and baseball history, when they sold George Herman “Babe” Ruth to the New York Yankees.

We plan to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of that event all day long here at Start Spreading the News.

Throughout the day today there will be articles, videos, photos, and more highlighting that big trade and the life and history of Babe Ruth.
