Without making excuses, "Judge was hurt," "Cole missed time," and etc.. This is a simple and direct question that is asking for an honest answer.

If you were told on Opening Day that the Yankees would finish in second place in 2026, would that have been something you would be pleased with?

(Again, no excuse making. It's a straight forward question. On Opening Day, did you say, "Boy I hope the Yankees finish in second place this year!")
