QH: Turnabout is Fair Play

Last night, the Yankees shutout the Tigers.

Today the Tigers returned the favor.

My frustration with the Yankees is that they might hit at will from an elite pitcher and then face a 5+ ERA guy and forget how to hit. They obviously hit well, going by run differential…just frustrates me when they have games like these against guys they should be hitting well…I mean, really, 2 hits against Montero, who “improved” to 4-5 with a 5.28 ERA?

Seems to happen quite often when they face the Yankees…😉

I wanna ask a question: With too many games like this one offensively today this year that are just like last year, are we to believe that Cashman hired hitting coaches after last year, but still are allowing them the freedom to coach hitting THEIR way, not THE YANKEES way? I really, really have my doubts that they are doing it their way and not the Yankees way.

interesting theorization.

it seems as though you're thinking is that

a poor result is evidence of poor coaching

and when players get good results, such as when Volpe is hitting successfully, you've asserted that it's because he rec'd good coaching from someone other than the coaches.

OK, I can understand that sort of thing.

If your pitching bad? Come face the Yankees, they’ll make you feel better about it.
