The Yankees seemed to forget that they were playing one of the worst teams baseball has seen in, maybe, forever.


They won two out of three, but they made these games much too close.


The Yankees have now won six consecutive series.

playing 2 out of 3 games with the Rocks to a close finish and losing one is unquestionably NOT ideal. a week ago one of the other good teams, LAD, lost every game of a 3 game series to another bad team, plus an additional game for a 4 game losing streak

all teams lose. i am not saying that makes me happy that the Yankees lose and often look very bad when they do!!

i am simply saying ALL teams, even the best teams, lose games. to this point in the season, 27 of the 30 teams have lost more games than the Yankees. 1 other team has lost exactly the same number of games as the Yankees, an…

today, the Yankees were determined not only to win the game, but also determined to win by exactly one run.

they've heard the complaints about not winning the really close ones and are set on changing the narrative.


Weaver was forced to allow a home run in order to insure that it was close, but he's a team player and accepted his responsibility
