Well, a sweep isn't a sweep until it's a sweep and the Padres made sure that the Yankees didn't sweep.
Padres 5
Yankees 2
No game tomorrow.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

Meanwhile in Anaheim, the "Guardian Angels" series resulted in a 3 game sweep with the Guardians sweeping the Angels, so the Yankees will be coming into Anaheim to face a very cold team that is really struggling now. And pitchers who I think the Yankee sluggers will really tee off of very nicely. I will watch Tuesdays and Thursdays games on the local Angels TV broadcast (on Bally Sports West), and Wednesday's game, I will be at the "Big A" (Anaheim Stadium) in Anaheim, so I can see the Yankees up close and personal.
very disappointing that the Yankees lost this game
it's been such a good month that a loss seems almost surprising
Another bad loss, but you get 7 or 8 of them a year.
Matt Sauer is back, assigned to SWB. I'm thinking be goes into their rotation and they put Warren on the Developmental List.
This weekend against Syracuse was a lost cause for SWB, for so many reasons, and just makes me scratch my head in what they're thinking when they move pitchers around. Just makes me want to make Preston Claiborne the PC, and have Matt Blake replace Sam Briend as the Pitching Czar.
