Carlos Rodon shoved this afternoon, leading the Yankees through 7 innings of 1 run ball as the offense scored 5! Yankees win, 5-1!

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

i DID say, I am happy to have Jazz
but we did need RH hitting last year and it was a safe bet we would need it this year. Ramirez might possibly be a very special hitter
I dont think we really had much way to get him in the lineup last year, but I dont see any problem with us having two good hitting catchers this year and beyond
I would have offered them multiple other players instead of Ramirez
a VERY welcome win
and a pretty fine pitching performance from Rodon
quality AND quantity
this fine afternoon helped to lower the team ERA
Again the Yankees left too many men on the base path. It should have been a complete blowout. Judge and Goldy are the only offense. Jazz and Volpe looks completely lost at the plate. Why is Jazz batting 5th and Volpe 6th. I would put Wells in the 5 spot . I'll put Jazz and Volpe down the lineup batting 8th and 9th respectively.
OH BTW...
Agustin Ramirez gets his first two MLB starts for the Marlins
8 PAs
5 hits
3 2bs
2 BBs
1 sb
also BTW a RH catcher. happy to get Jazz, but Ramirez was one of few untouchable prospects for me. my list last year was JDom, Durbin, Ramirez
