"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

What I liked about this game was that they KEPT the pitcher (Nestor Cortes) in to finish the game. They didn't feel that they HAD to insert a "Closer" in there, just because it was the 9th inning. If a pitcher is doing the job effectively in the 6th, 7th, and 8th inning, there is no reason why he shouldn't also pitch the 9th, rather than take the chance of another pitcher not being as effective as the "long man" or the "setup reliever" had been.
Once again, a pathetically ineffective offense: 8 LOB, GIDP, 0-for-7 RISP. Against better teams like the Rangers and Nationals, that won't fly.
