In the meantime, should we remark upon Caleb Durbin being assigned to AAA? Wasn't he supposed to be the starting -- or at least platoon -- second baseman?

What I'm asking has nothing to do with the Yankee side of the trade. Durbin seemed to be a major piece of Milwaukee's haul, and yet he didn't even make the team. Is he simply not as good as we all thought, even as a platoon with the No. 9 hitter yesterday, or what?

Rodon pitched well for 5 innings

I was a bit surprised that they sent him out for a sixth.

you're correct. Rodon had pitched not only well, but also efficiently through 5
