Quick Hit: Pain.

Yanks lost 11-3. One more loss to a .500 record on the year. Two more for under .500. Two more games against the Braves incoming.

Let's hope the rest of the season goes the way the last two games have.

Nothing will happen, of course, with an owner who is afraid of firing people, but we'll have the satisfaction of being right and we won't have to care about this team.

Vote with your feet. Do not support this team financially or otherwise.

Cutting the dead wood and playing for 2024 has got to start TOMORROW! I'm not just talking the manager or a player here or there. I'm talking coaches, players OFF the 40 man (and active roster) roster. I'd even have to consider sitting Judge the rest of the year, and get that toe fixed before September 15. But I'd also get rid of front office people, medical people, & minor league coaches. If Cashman doesn't want to radically change all his different processes, then good bye.

"This charming and meticulously researched book will remind you of baseball’s power to change and enrich lives far beyond the diamond."

—Jonathan Eig, New York Times best-selling author of Luckiest Man, Opening Day, and Ali: A Life

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
