obviously Schlittler was not as good today as the first time out. he threw plenty of pitches, but the Jays are going to do that to basically anyone (unfortunately), at least as long as they keep hitting 12-15 foul balls every inning
that said, I liked the way he looked. honestly, I see very little possibility for the Yankees to get a better starter at the deadline. i have said all along they could trade Schlittler as long as they get a good starter back in some trade
