After an ugly, boring, tedious, horrible, miserable, and (add your own (appropriate) word) loss in extra innings on Tuesday, the Yankees have bounced back and won back-to-back games over the Cleveland Guardians.
Today Gerrit Cole did the bulk of the lifting from the mound.
Aaron Judge homered (again).
Giancarlo Stanton homered.
(Hummm... DJ LeMahieu and Jose Trevino get benched and the Yankees win two in a row.)

quick miss
Houston 6
Baltimore 0

Every "good" team this year has endured bullpen troubles, being swept by bad to mediocre teams (or losing series to those really bad teams), losing streaks, slumps from key players, and injuries to many key players. Thusly, the Yankees today in late August find themselves …
And both Rice & Wells had SFs! Cabrera another hit, and solid D.
