"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

I'm just ah, annoyed (see Paul, I'm behaving) at what the Yankees pitching plan was today. To me, that was stupid, and to me the main reason why they lost the game. Now I don't want to hear from Boone or anyone else if Schlittler's next outing is bad and they use the excuse, 'well, he hasn't pitched since...', it's nobody's fault but THEIRS!
well in the last 2 days the Yankees scored 3 runs total
but before that they had 12 straight games scoring 4 runs or more AND only 1 of those games was it 4 runs. the other 11 games it was 5 or more.
in that run the Yankees put up runs against some very good pitchers. Boyd and Imanaga pitched VERY VERY well the last 2 days but that should not make people start saying that the Yankees offense is only good against bad pitching!!!
sometimes it just goes that way and after scoring so much for 2 ish weeks we could say there was bound to be an off day. baseball is a game of ups and downs…
