Quick Hit: Yanks Fall To Monty And The Cards, 5-1

Give a pitcher with command an inch, and he'll take a mile. Make that a pitcher with command and a grudge, and he just might throw a no-hitter. Monty and the umps shut down the Yankee offense, and the Cards took this series with relative ease...at least Volpe got another hit.

They lost a Sunday game. Its not a death blow. That happened when the current Admin was rehired last November, then they refused to address glaring holes while telling us to trust the process.

If the best you can do against the worst team in one League and the third-worst in the other is .500, it is time to sell.

Bader will fetch a fair price from a contender. So would Torres. Literally anyone whose contract is up this year or next should be offered.
