It's a simple set of questions for today...
Are the 2026 Yankees this good?
Are they for real?
What will it take for you to believe in this year's team?
Is this the year they finally put it all together?

Let's have this conservation on June 1st!
Well, I’m forced to revise my prediction. Now they will go 161-1.
Seriously, why not? Last year they tied for the wrong half of the best record in the league. They have as good a line up as anyone. Their starting staff with one exception has been lights out with reinforcements coming. If the bullpen holds up and they avoid lengthy injuries to key players, read: a certain right fielder, there is no reason why they should not be able to go the distance. Of course, those are big “if’s”.
Boone's teams all too often start out scorching before The Swoon evens things out. They also tend to overwork the bullpen in the scorching part.
On the other hand, Judge's bat has typically coincided with the team's boom/bust offense, so maybe things could be different this season.
Far too early to tell if the are a team that has a legitimate Championship caliber team. The biggest challenge will come when guys get hurt and how the YMG deal with it.
Even before last night, I didn't like Ryan Weathers being chosen over Luis Gil for SP4.
After tomorrow's off day, the Yankees begin a period of playing 13 straight days then another off day over the next couple of months. Biggest question is: How many days in a row can Stanton be in the starting lineup?
they played poorly last night
and won
allowed 7 runs last night
after allowing a total of 8 in the first 7 games
and won.
as for being real..........
they've played only against three teams
and beaten all three
these three teams have .500 records or better in their games against non-Yankee teams.
far too early and far too difficult to accept that this Yankee team is gonna win 80% of their games.
I dont accept anything about any 80% win rate for the season.
I do accept that they're a good, solid team at this point
and that the pitching might be exceptionally good if Cole and Rodon pitch well.
