I got a most unusual present. The Yankees made a rather fascinating signing the other day - the Yankees signed Nick Torres, the Mexian League 2025 MVP. It makes for a very intriguing story, he might actually come out of nowhere to steal a spot on the team and perhaps, even manage to win the startng LF job. If he can adapt to MLB, he could become my new favorite player, replacing no one. LOL Nestor Cortes was my favorite player when he was with the Yankees, but he's fallen from my good graces.

Mexican League pitching isn't good at all, so that alone makes Torres a longshot. Will the Yankees sign Paul Fry next? Maybe they should, maybe he's…

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
