The Yankees hit 3 home runs today and they lost 7-4. Rodon couldn't make it through 5. They've won just 1 series since July 1st.

How is this acceptable?

I recently read an article containing interviews with fans bitching about the 2024 price increases. Oh, the pissing and moaning about paying more for next year with the awful product on the field now and little hope for a quick turnaround. And yet, and yet, every fan admitted they would re-up for 2024.

THAT'S how it's acceptable. Keep feeding the trust fund babies, buy the over-priced tickets and food and parking and crappy merch, they're laughing their asses off at you.

We play today; we lose today.

Also, if the Yankees have a no-beard policy because it looks too sloppy, why is there no must-t-shirt policy? Rodon needs to put a t-shirt on under that uni top. Voit also looked horse-apples without a t-shirt. I can't imagine wearing a knit uniform top without an undershirt -- the texture would be horrible, and there would be sweat pouring down my torso. Ick.

I wish they played sloopy -- at least sloopy hangs on!

(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

How many losses can there be before big changes are made?

The Yankees are 7-17 in August.

They are 17-32 since July 1.

Paul, this is all on Hal. Any chance of change like everything else with the Yanks will only be made when he says so, period

Not having Prime meant I didn't have to watch it live. But I did get to watch a lot of AAA & AA. Saw Spencer Jones first AA hit. Saw Ben Rice hit his 12th AA HR.. oh yes, in about 32 games. Saw the weirdest errors in that game too that gave Somerset the win. Saw Dominguez go 2-3, 2RBIs. Saw him strike out on the challenge system. Pitcher challenged a ball call. It barely touched the K box. Jake Lamb finally didn't play. Saw the AA SP be left in there when he had no business or reason at this time of year for him to stay in. Better was OK. He's a solid 3nd piece in a…

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
