(Somewhat) "Polite" Twitter (X) on Aaron Boone and the Yankees

NOTE - Much of what is on Twitter that relates to Aaron Boone and the Yankees is unpublishable because of our standards here, but here is a collection of reactions to the manager and the (once very proud) New York Yankees.

NOTE - Read that first one again. And then again. Spike Owen had a higher OPB. Kevin Ester. Alvaro Espinoza. Think about the bad hitting shortstops of just the last few decades.

And yet the Yankees gaslight the fans, year-after-year. Boone called Volpe "elite." I'll give him this - Volpe is in a class all by himself, it's just the opposite of what Boone was referring to.

NOTE - This means that the manager has lost the clubhouse. This was Boone's supposed strength. The fact that this is being stated by respected veterans and reported by a respected reporter is a call for action.

The fact that this is out there and Aaron Boone is still the manager is a huge problem that speaks, loudly, to the way the Yankees are run.

This organization is operating in a dysfunctional manner. The fact that Brian Cashman allows this is a problem. The fact that Hal Steinbrenner allows this is a problem.

The Yankees owner and general manager are sending a very loud message to their fans that they cannot and will not admit to, nor address, a very real problem.

We could go on, but it is too depressing.

There was a time, before Aaron Boone, before Hal Steinbrenner, and before Brian Cashman was given as much control as he has, when the Yankees set the standard for excellence and greatness in baseball.

Those days are long gone.

This is Hal Steinbrenner's legacy.

This is Brian Cashman's legacy.

This is what they have created and have stood by. This is what they still stand by.

Gary Sheffieldsaid it best: Until Hal has had enough, nothing changes.

Are Volpe, Wells, Jones, etc a mistake? I don't know but I know the coaching they get is complete garbage.

The biggest prospect mistake by BC was Chance Adams. Within 2 years he went from a 5th Rd pick to pitching lights out in AAA. Then in Summer of 2017, he gets on the WFAN and basically bashes him then refuses to trade him when he did enough to at keastxearn his MLB chance.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
