Game on MLBN (oom) and YES at 1 pm

7 games later------- and excluding the first two contests, wherein the Yankees scored 0 and then scored 20--------- and also excluding this afternoon's game
(excluded because the Yankees played a pretty-much regular season line-up)
we're left with four games in which the Yankee offense scored 4,6, 8 and 7 runs-----averaging 6.25
while giving up 6,2,7 and 0 runs...averaging 3.75 allowed
the offense looks less inept than some of our more pessimistic brethren have opined that it would
and the young and hopeful starters have looked pretty well prepared
it's very early, but it hasn't yet seemed as though the dire wolf has come grinning to the window
The COOKIE has crumbled!!!
I wish Carrasco well -- he seems like a really good guy -- but I want the Yankees to beat up on has-been pitchers.
I guess i will throw this out here just for something to talk about, or not. I understand Jazz had a nice year last year. I still do not feel good at all about him as the cleanup hitter. I really hope that when they start playing the real lineup Rice will be hitting cleanup vs RHP
but it feels like we can already see that this is what Boone wants to do
Goldy starts the game with his 100th hit off of a RHP already this spring))
50-50, 10 WAR . . . All That Jazz.
